I got it working I would love to have it work with and events calendar. Wow that would be cool. I had to do was follow the instructions. Da. and place it in the right folder.

Instruction wow what concept! Na I’m a guy I would be forsaking my gender if I started following instructions or even acknowledging that there was such a thing! What would my wife think if I did that! I wonder what the % of forum Help requests there are by gender as a % of users?

Ok i did it again and now since I followed the rules the URL of uploads in the miss and the replacing of the quotes it works perfectly.

Ok i got it copy the events folder form bp-events to the directory i have the default BP theme which was buddy press directory. it’s seems to work now! it says to do that in the read me sorry form not following instructions.

I’m clueless on how to do that. Is it a server thing or can you do it from the site. What folder do i have to move? I’m using the BuddyPress Default 1.2.3 it doesn’t see to have a child theme just the default.

@dfa327 On the events plug in i can’t get it to work it goes to the home page when I click schedule and event. Any ideas? I’m using buddypress 1.2.3 defult BP template and WP 2.9.2

HI ia, have you moved the relevant Bp-events folder into your default or child theme? That should sort it

Cool, no worries I did the same thing. I’ve learnt you do need to read the the readme’s for a lot of BP plugins 🙂

I too would like to have the events plug-in working. I have the same results of taking me to the home page. I’m new to BP and not a programmer but I think it’s an application worth having and I would probably pay for it if it had calendar integration. 2.9.2. e it gets picked […]

@silversurferes Hi I just tried to install the event 1.2.x plug in and it installed but doesn’t allow me to set up an event it just goes to the home page when I click create an event. I’m running BP 1.2.3 on WP 2.9.2. and I have the BP wiki running. Any ideas? i would love to have and event plug in.

Cool, no worries I did the same thing. I’ve learnt you do need to read the the readme’s for a lot of BP plugins 🙂
