yep, thats what I was looking to do and was hoping I was missing an easy way to do this.. Thanx
@Dwenaus can I display the results of a tag in a custom loop? I cant seem to figure it out.
Well after spending much of the day on this I got it.. I Have never used templates before in WordPress. Turns out I just had to make a template with the code for the page I wanted in it. Pretty easy once I figured out what I had to do…
I dont know about 3 tiers.. Works with my cleanroar theme and BP with two tiers.. I guess its dependent on WP pages. if you can set a page as a child of a child (a step child lol) then prolly.. I have never needed to go that deep.
I haven’t had a chance to dig back into this. anyone have any ideas?
I went a different route to do the same thing.
Installed a plugin called ‘Page Links To’
Then I just pointed the page links to section of the page editor to the /member/, /groups/, /forums/ urls. no coding, took a few min.. just be sure to setup the pages with proper parent/child and your good to go…
No, Its a wordpress theme that I used the template-pack plugin to make it a BP theme. Everything works and is fine.. Its the item-header-avatar on the /members/user/activity/ page.. You CAN see the same image on the default BP theme.
I only want to remove this from that specific page and not all the related pages (maybe on a few other specific pages but that might be an after thought.
Would be amazing to see FB connect just built into Buddypress. Would help communities starting out with BP to establish users. Would also help get more people downloading and implementing BP due to the popularity of FB.
If it just worked on the standard install of BP then it would appeal to a huge audience and issues like this wouldn’t be much of a question.
Here is a quick and easy solution for moving the bar to the bottom.
