In reply to: CSS issue with Activity
Thanks for the reply @virtuali
I do use Firebug by I am very green when it comes to CSS. I inspected the element and it is in the CSS as below
`}
div.ac-reply-avatar img {
border: 2px solid #FFFFFF !important;
}`Could you suggest a command to use – of course I can play with the setting (ie px etc) but I am not sure where to begin.
Thanks again.
In reply to: Sidebar and page layout when clicking ViewI am using a child theme – fishbook (which I have edited some parts – colours etc). http://www.ukushosting.com/testshop
I did not realise I had, but I apologise and duly noted.
OK I am an ass – its official. I did find the file – once I realised I need to go via the plugins to BP and then follow the structure. Sorry – It is taking me a while to understand the WP and BP structures.
OK – I have had a good search and I simple cannot locate this file in the Fishbook theme. Maybe my lack of knowledge with the BP file structure, but I have genuinely met a dead end.
hye @hnla – thanks as always for posting – but I dont have this file as I am not using the default.
Sorry I maybe a little slow – but how to find the members page – I dont have this listed under my theme in any of the directories – I must be missing a brain cell today – sorry if its obvious – but I can’t see it anywhere search through my FTP client.
In reply to: RSS Feed Block with CSS issues.@hnla – Thank you sooooo much.
I just pasted your latter code and dropped it into my CSS just above the seperator for naviagtion – and it worked perfectly. I assume I did the right thing?
As a side note – how did you paste that code – I tried with the firebug output and could not get it to paste – also – can we not subscribe to topics in here?
In reply to: RSS Feed Block with CSS issues.Thanks for the response @hnla – to be brutal – I have no idea. I have limited ability with CSS.
if I inspect RSS title Firebug shows as below. (edit – I tried to past the firbug output here but it inserted the code)
I should have included a link – sorry my bad http://www.ukushosting.com/testshop.
In reply to: Activity Page is messy and disjointed.Thanks @pcwriter – much appreciated. When I got to line 966 (via notepad+) it is related to the tabs – code as below
‘div.item-list-tabs ul li a span {
display: inline;
padding: 0;
color: inherit;
}’So I search the line ‘ul.activity-list li’ and found it on line 1931 and it now looks like the below
‘ul.activity-list li {
padding: 20px 0 0 0;
display:inline-block;
}’All seems to be working well – thank you for your help. Now on to my next rounds of tweaks
