WordPress Origin Story

I was introduced to WordPress through my brother in 2005. I built a website/blog for the nonprofit my wife and I were running. My first contract job was to help build a website for a small tech consultancy. Next I was hired full time to build and manage a large WPMU site. Having Andrea R, Ipstenu, Otto, cgrymala either answer questions in WP forums or blog about their journey has been invaluable.
