Thanks. I found that plugin after I posted this. If I can make it work it will do what I want, but I’m having trouble with that.

I realized I used the wrong terminology. By “user tags” I mean “profile filters.”

I’m using it to make a membership site. I thought I needed it in addition to BuddyPress/bbpress. I really don’t know what I’m doing, if you couldn’t tell. 😉

    Their support kinda sucks.

I definitely don’t! Any idea on how to make it default back to BP and not MP?

I think the problem is that I’m using the MemberPress plugin with BuddyPress and it’s defaulting to the MemberPress registration field. I did have it set up to default to the BuddyPress registration field. I want to go back to the BuddyPress registration but I don’t know how.

Ah, I see it. There were two groups pages created and only one was showing up.

Any thoughts on letting users create forums and topics?

Yes, it is checked. I’m using BuddyPress and MemberPress and some of the pages canceled each other out. What is supposed to be on the Groups Page?

The links don’t show up in the menu when I look at it via Appearance>>menus. I don’t get it.

Hi, thanks so much. I changed the slug of the BP register link to bp_register because the instructions in MemberPress said that the slugs for the two registrations are the same out of the box so one has to be changed. I didn’t change it to register/member though, so I’m not sure where that came from. Maybe MemberPress did it? I just deleted the only Plugin with PM in the name. It was Popup Maker. However, the PM links are still there. I think they’re created by MemberPress, but I don’t know why they use PM rather than MP.
