| WordPress Origin Story | I started using WordPress as a software consultant to build custom solutions for my clients back in the days of the Kubrick theme (2005). In 2008 I create “ThemeDreamer”, an Adobe plugin for designing WordPress themes. In 2010 I created “DesktopServer”, and formed a company with partners as “ServerPress” in 2012 where I continued to make design tools for other WordPress-based solution providers, designers, and developers; helping launch thousands of websites each year. I’ve spoken at various WordCamps, and was a co-founder of the San Diego Advanced WordPress Meetup group (and subsequent Facebook group). Today, I continue my endeavors with writing open source software solutions and consulting. |
