TURKESA’S STORY

Turkesa Pryor’s blog will encourage working mothers and wives to share their stories of love, work, play, and spirituality through the unwind of Café Turquiose. As a military brat, Turkesa was born in Seaside County, Monterey. She has always been a woman of grace, simplicity, spirituality and love. Her father is an Army Veteran and her mother was a working mother and house wife for many years. Having both parents who have worked hard to maintain the strength of a family does not come easy. Having this example from her parents has encouraged her to pass on this knowledge to other working mothers and house wives.

Turkesa started her work journey in a call center, in Colorado Springs. Shortly after, Turkesa left the nest of her parents to start her career journey in sales. As a Territory Sales representative, she discovered she was a go getter, however, very sheltered from the world. After leaving the nest at the age of 22, she discovered she wanted to elevate herself by pursuing her M.B.A. For 2 strenuous years, she took the time to achieve one of the greatest gifts of a high education, while completing a Strategic Marketing Internship in Erie Pennsylvania. In 2006, she graduated moved to D.C., Atlanta, and then Memphis, where she landed a great career in Digital Marketing. As a Digital Marketing Subject matter expert, she has gained unparalleled experience, as an internet marketer. During this time, Turkesa took the time to travel to several countries, exploring culture, food, and experiences that were amazing. While working in Memphis from 2006-2010, she met her husband while enjoying the city of Memphis. After 9 years of dating, Turkesa and Toby moved to Dallas where they married in 2016.

Recently, Turkesa and Toby were blessed with their first born child Taylar Amare Pryor. And now the story of mother hood begins and she is here to document it. Please join me on my journey.
