| WordPress Origin Story | While hacking through scripts on hotscripts.com back in 2006 I found WordPress and tried customizing its code to make a blog for myself. What I loved about WordPress was that it was Open Source and not obfuscated and it was very easy to learn. I started playing with default themes and slowly and steadily learnt how to build custom themes. WordPress has been paying my bills for last 8 or so years. 100% of sites that I work on is made using WordPress so much so that I have not even looked into other software or tools which are available to make a site today. WordPress is easy to use, easy to customize and I love its community. |
