@techguy thanks but i did try that and it only removes from adminbar not the member profile nav bar. what i’ve ended up doing that works i guess is to use css.

@techguy….no worries, I appreciate your help. I hope to one day use the paid membership, but that type of membership is a hard sell and very few sites could offer such a tool.

@techguy – you might want to get a beta copy of WP 3.0 and work with that instead on this tweak – reason being that WPMU code is merging with WP code starting with WP 3.0

one other question – can you give me examples of where you actually used this action?

There is some difference between WP 3.0 MultiSite and WPMU 2.9.2, but I don’t think any features are missing. I know some functions have been renamed (wpms versus wpmu) but for the most part, I thought @andrea_r meant what @techguy said.

@techguy – I’m aware of that. But andrea_r noted something different about some WPMU features (I’m guessing deprecated functions, unless I’m misinterpreting something).
