About Me

The school was founded in 1997 by a team of social workers and philanthropists under a purely non-profit trust. It is a part of a larger educational institution, namely, The Chittagong Institute for Development of Education and Research (CIDER).

During its initial planning process, advice was sought from a UK Educational Consultant, Mr. Peter Gray Scopes, who was previously an Educational Adviser with the Overseas Development Administration of UK. Mr. Scopes was involved in all the preliminary tests and subsequent interviews for the selection of teaching staffs.

In 1998, Ms. P.M. Read, a renowned British Educationist joined as the Principal. Her significant contribution in training the teachers and structuring the curriculum of the school played a constructive role for the development of the school at the formative period.

In 2004, with a view to expanding the activities of the school and attracting the new investment from competent investors, a limited company has been formed, namely, CIDER Education Services Limited (CESL) under the company act-1994.

In 2013, the school was merged with Techno India Group (TIG) to work in collaboration in order to enhance the institution to the global standard. TIG is one of the largest and most acclaimed knowledge management groups in India, having 56 campuses with 4 universities, 20 engineering colleges, 10 B-schools and 17 public schools. TIG has set new milestones in technology, education and placement in the past 28 years.

The school strives ceaselessly to create competent and loyal citizens for the country and proudly upholds its founders’ commitment of excellence in every sphere, with an emphasis on the motto Excellence is the highest goal of human endeavour.
