    I have never seen this done, although I suppose it might be possible.

    You might be able to write a custom script to do this, but it would be rather complex.

    This looks to be a server permissions error. You will likely need to talk to your hosting provider about this.

    You do want to use no-conflict, but sometimes for testing purposes it is easier just to import jQuery manually and figure out the no-conflict stuff later before going live.

    One thing that makes running no-conflict mode easier is setting up a variable at the top of your .js file like so:

    `$j=jQuery.noConflict();`

    I hope this helps!

    @Ekine,
    Eric Johnson and I are developing a plugin to track individual user activity within BuddyPress. More info can be found here: http://heavyanalytics.com.

    What info, specifically, are you trying to track? Perhaps we can build it into our plugin.

    PJ – Check out Heavy Analytics – http://heavyanalytics.com. It is a plugin that we are developing for this purpose. The purpose of the plugin is to give you actionable information about your WordPress/BuddyPress users. For example, it will help you figure out who the leaders in your community are, who the most active members of your community are, etc.

    We will be releasing the public Alpha soon and would love to have you test it out and provide some feedback when it is ready! Just enter your email address into the sidebar of the Heavy Analytics site.

    I don’t know if this is an official bump or not… The issue was addressed here: https://trac.buddypress.org/ticket/1973

    I do want to start a discussion about how to make this feature more intuitive from a usability perspective. One of my clients and me were perplexed by this until we started reading up on it in the BuddyPress forums and trac.

    Is there a better place to hold this discussion?

    Thanks!

    Okay. The issue is that I am redirecting to the forum page for each group. The forum page for private forums does not have a “you need to be a member” error message like groups do. Doesn’t it make sense that forums would have a similar error message? Should I submit this as a BuddyPress bug? I have never submitted a bug and don’t quite know what the standards are for doing so.

    Thanks!

    BTW: I am using WordPress MU 2.9.2 and BuddyPress 1.2.4.1

    FYI: This bug was fixed in BuddyPress version 1.2.1. Upgrading solved the problem for me.

    @tinus2 – What would the url of those feeds be?

    I have tried variations of:

    to no avail.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!
