@frisch11 I have the same problem today! Can you tell me what you deleted? I removed the BP plugin, deleted all tables in the DB related to wp_bp and also wp_bb (forums). Removed the avatar folder in uploads for images but I still have the same problem ;(

My problem is 100% the same as yours. Everything is set, upload and crop works fine but the image isn’t included in the HTML to appear.

    Hi Paul,

Yes it is using my Gravatar and the user name when enabled. If I disable Buddypress it uses the default mystery man gravatar and the name the poster used when writing the comment.

Does BP read off of the posters IP address by chance for anonymous postings?

    Hope that makes sense!

Sorry here are my versions. Buddypress Version 1.5.5 + WordPress Version 3.3.2
Yes if I disable Buddypress then the comments are attributed to the correct posters.
Yes I disabled EVERYTHING except buddypress and also switched to the default Buddypress theme.

I’ve already done that. With only the BP plugin enabled and even using the default template for Buddypress I get all my old comments showing that I posted them and linking to my member page.

If I disable Buddypress plugin everything works fine… So that is why I assumed it was something in Buddypress…

They are using an outdated jquery 1.2.6 I think which is why BP has conflicts.

After taking a trip through the files I found the location and file I had to edit. /wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core/bp-core-adminbar.php

This allowed me to modify the linking structure to what I needed.
