Great it finally works!
So what I’ve done is: I replaced global.js as mentioned by pcwriter ( http://pastebin.com/32r9bK8d )
and then I removed lines 197-8 as mentioned in patch 1 from bp-xprofile-templatetags.php.
Thanks @r-a-y for your support!

@r-a-y – Ok but they are basically the non-required fields members leave blank when registering. I’d like to apply the second patch as well but then I come back to my initial question: “I do not have the file bp-xprofile-template.php on my server. Although I do have bp-xprofile-templatetags.php?” Can you also include a link to the […]

I am looking for a solution where I can moderate posts – before being posted. I would like to review a Post before it is being published.
I am already using BP Announcements and BP Moderation plugin – they are great – but dont include the above.
Any suggestions?

The problem I have is that not all fields are required when registering. If some members decide not to complete certain field I will get double grey fields or double white fields on the members page – which looks distorted.
How could you correct this? OR How can I remove the Zebra styling completely?

I have WP installed – but not multisite. I also have BP activated.
WP is installed on http://www.domain.com/wordpress/
The page I want to have the form on is http://www.domain.com/test.html or test.php
What do you mean with “Not sure what’s the cache on your site”?

When pasting it on a test.php page I get this error again:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_user_logged_in() in /home/domain/public_html/test.php on line 26
On a test.html I get some kind of login form like this: http://uploadpic.org/v.php?img=ePvXqheqAQ
