btw, i’m now displaying PHP errors with display_errors = On via php.ini and all i see is the same blank white page 🙁

Just tried with 20 10 and I have the same problem. It won’t take hold of the child theme. I just get a blank white screen.

Yes… they are named as follows:

Parent theme:
/wp–content/themes/twentyeleven/

Child theme:
/wp–content/themes/twentyelevenchild/

Style sheet for child theme is as follows:

How could I use my child theme (child to twentyeleven) as the default theme when someone creates a new blog. I’ve tried everything and I’m starting to think it’s not possible.

I’d like to add a few extra pages to my site but do not want it to appear tabbed in the buddypress nav (along with home, members, blogs, etc…).

P.S. In the last question I guess I’m wanting to know if WordPress and plugin updates will be left to individual blog users or can I as the network admin update all the blogs using the UPDATE NETWORK function.
