Can anyone help me out to edit the profile setting page in Buddypress1.2.3

[@weblogian Participant 16 years, 6 months ago]

Can I display ads like adsense?

[@weblogian Participant 16 years, 7 months ago]

I also noticed that when a blog author (admin Blog) create a new blog, their blog author status(admin Blog) are rip off and they become like other common community users.

The only (solution) i know now is to add them again using the Add New User from the dashboard.

[@weblogian Participant 17 years, 7 months ago]

Edit the Header file both in Home and member theme and place your link there.

Hope you know how to do that in your WP blog.

I meant it does not lead to where it should. It say it does not exist.

I delete

line 47 is: <?php $counter++; ?>

In Line 42: Change->

<div class=”item-content”><?php echo bp_create_excerpt($post->post_content) ?></div>

TO

<div class=”item-content”><?php echo bp_create_excerpt($post->post_excerpt) ?></div>

Here’s one option:

I used advance excerpt Plugin https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/advanced-excerpt/

Activate and set the excerpt word number.

and place the <?php the_advanced_excerpt(); ?> in the index.php

This works for me.

I am trying this plug too http://www.dailyblogtips.com/homepage-excerpts-wordpress-plugin/

[@weblogian Participant 17 years, 7 months ago]

Where do I change the excerpt_length

[@weblogian Participant 17 years, 7 months ago]

Glad to know that, I have to wait then,

Thank you
