@wpgoddess Yes, it will be good to know what the dev comes up with revised buddypress.php. Double-check that the_title and the_content are there. Good luck.

@wpgoddess There could still be a way to salvage the situation with your premium theme. Open up your theme’s page.php file and Save As > buddypress.php file. Ask your theme dev that we need the_title() and the_content() in buddypress.php and that will facilitate compatibility process. Never get hung up on one theme because the one you may love the most may be junk as far as coding

@wpgoddess As of BP 1.7, you no longer need to install/activate the BP Template Pack plugin and go through the compatibility process to make your WP theme compatible with BuddyPress. That’s why “The site looked better styled before I installed the compatibility pack“.
