Tried to make my first webside around 2010. Tried another CMS-tool first, yes – silly me rejectíng WordPress in the beginning – I didn’t want to blog! The other CMS was described with “a slightly higher learning curve” but I thought “Hey, I have been using a computer as tool for ages at work with several different companies own system, this should be no challenge!”.
How wrong I was.
I tried for two weeks and managed NOTHING except changing the theme.
Ok, so I realized I had to give WordPress a try, and after two HOURS I had a fully functional website up and running – even with a contact form!
This was around 2010 and I have never looked back…!
I love this tool and all the possibilites it has – yes, blog away if you want to, but if not, build a shop, build a member site, build a “standard website” (whatever that really is), build a forum, build a *whatever-you-need* – if you can imagine it, it can be created in WordPress!
