Actually the problem is worse than I thought. The friendship connections keep disappearing, which is why the requests keep showing up. Even worse still is that when you try to accept the new request you get an error that says “Friendship cannot be accepted.”

Help! Please?

I know it’s far more complex than I could possibly imagine so I certainly don’t intend to come off as impatient. But does there happen to be an accurate ETA for this? Right now I’m using the s2Member plugin (I think that’s what it’s called) and it works okay but I would so much rather have something native….

As far as I could tell BP isn’t implementing it officially any time soon (1.4+) so I’d love to see this come to fruition.

Okay, I feel like a schmuck but I can’t seem to get this to work! I am using the MyBuddyPress child theme of the default, and whether I copy/paste all the code into a file called forums-loop.php and put it in the child theme folder or if I enter the code before the loop in the BuddyPress default theme files, nothing happens.

Am I doing something wrong? I’m so confused and I really need this to work.

I tried the s2Members plugin and it worked okay but I had some issues with it. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I would be so happy if you do.

One more question, though, if you are available to help.

Is there a way to turn an xprofile field into a tag? I’m trying to track posts by country so we could then click on the country and see all the posts from that country. (I have a drop down of all countries as a required registration field.)

Or is there a better way to go about it? I don’t mind learning/doing work, I just have no idea how to go about it. Any ideas?
