1.1.3 to 1.2 RC3 avatars missing, any fix

When I upgraded 1.1.3 to 1.2 RC3 manually, already uploaded member avatars are missing. I obviously missed something during the process, but couldn’t yet find the right topic on this.

Has anyone faced this? How did you solve it?

There was no change to avatar settings or upload location, so this shouldn’t happen. I haven’t seen this in my testing.

I am experiencing issues too (postet it over at https://buddypress.org/forums/topic/avatar-upload-issues/page/2#post-36572)

I upgraded from 1.1.2.

I am running on trunk r2638 and when a user uploads a new avatar it just seems to mess things up… The small avatars show the just uploaded image, but the bigger (for updates and in the profile) stay on the old one from earlier BP-Versions).

Can anyone help me with that strange issue???? Why is that? Any solutions?

I’ve updated to 1.2, but I still had the same problem. So I deleted all the files under avatars, and now I can’t upload avatars for some reason (which I need to look into the topic above).
