1.7 theme with multisite

How will the 1.7 theme interact with a multisite installation? Right now everyones theme works off of the core theme, however I was hoping that it would work off of each individuals theme that way their blog would be integrated with their profile information. Right now the two are considered separate. I am guessing that is why an album has not been integrated into a users profile?

Theme compatibility will work from the site’s current theme. So each users’ blog would be the base for theme compat.

Does that mean that I can integrate users data with their blog. Right now the two are separated. I want to show blocks of information from a users profile in their blog. For instance:
Show profile fields, avatar upload and other info on a users blog page.
Is that possible?

@mercime – because I use wordpress & buddypress, I do my best to not ever rely on anything paid. Do you happen to know of any other way, or will it be built in the future?

One last question on this cause I think I am still uncertain. If 1.7 contains components does that mean the components will function alongside a users blog? Can a post and user data coexist?
