2 Step Signup?

    Is it possible to create a 2 step signup?

    Example – First only username , email , password and name is asked.

    – Second relatting to location , gender , age etc..

    Would be great if the user is redirected from the activation email they receive to a page that ask for additional info before activation is 100% complete. Or any other possible way…

    Because I think asking all the info at once might scare some people off.

    Don’t know if it is possible?

    Perhaps just keep the base profile field group to a minimum so there is very little on the signup page, then add a message to the activation page template telling the user to go fill out the rest of their profile.

    You can also use the welcome plugin and after each user signs up they will get a notification with any message you want. You could tell them to fill out profile in this message.
