Hi!

I’m new to Buddypress and have a couple of questions concerning what’s possible with plugin extensions and what I may have to code myself. I’ve been finding some useful information in the forums, but some of is quite old. I’m not sure what’s currently built-in, which plugins are still supported etc so here it goes:

1) Different profiles for different member types? E.g business, consumer, host.
2) Added custom activity posts for custom member types? E.g businesses can post special discounts, consumers can post reviews, hosts can publish events.
3) Custom activity streams? E.g discount stream, reviews stream, events stream.

If anyone have some advice and can point me in the right direction that would be very much appreciated.
