    Looks like you’re using a Windows server. I recall someone in this forum or in WP.org using that solution to offset lack of mod_rewrite. Maybe others who use Windows server can chime in.

    I’m getting the same 404 error on all pages – running apache and php

    .htaccess was my problem – http://goo.gl/72UnN this posting had the code needed to make it work

    I had the same problem and solve it by changing the permalinks to some that this is not the default and enable the Apache module “mod_rewrite”

    When you fail to read previous posts then of course it’s a solution by installing Apache module on IIS. How’s that working for you!?! Dah… I’m sure you won’t read this post either.
