404 on every page after installation

    Hi,

    I’m receiving the error 404 on each page for buddypress (profile, notifications, etc.)

    I’ve searched the forum and found e.g. the tip with the permalinks. Mine are: /index.php/%category%/%postname%/
    Any other ideas what this could be?

    The other troubleshooting steps are as follows:

    1. confirm the page that hold thebp content exist and are linked in Settings>>Buddypress>>pages.
    2. Confirm it’s not a plugin conflict – deactivate all other plugins.
    3. Confirm it’s not a theme conflict – switch to 2017 and test.

    remove index.php from permalinks
    keep it like following
    /%category%/%postname%/
