Activate WP Users in BP

Hi
I have a membership site that I’ve added BP to, none of the wp user profiles are showing up in BP. I’m also using the Buddypress Xprofile Custom Fields Type plugin with profile fields which are not being pulled in when I view the user profiles. I’ve also tried the BuddyPress Pending Activations plugin but none of the wp users are found. Can anyone advise?
