BuddyPress.org

When I activate a theme other than the default buddypress theme, I no longer have the ability to navigate my site properly. I can click on members to the side, but it won’t let me edit my profile or anything like that. I now have a whole list of options at the bottom of the front page, but clicking on any of them just reloads the same page. Anyone experience this before or know how to fix it?
