Activation Email Approval

    Hello,
    I currently have buddypress Version 2.9.1 on a wordpress site. When users register the activation email does not get sent until I (admin) approve it through dashboard> users> all users> pending. I have troubleshooted the emails on buddypress, but that does not work either. How to I allow the activation email to be send without admin approval?
