BuddyPress.org

I have a default install of BP and when I sign up as a new user I get the activation email and when I click on the link, using default BP theme, it takes me to the activation page but a text box comes up saying please enter valid activation key. Even if I goto the email and copy and paste the key into the text box it still says ‘please enter validate’. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled all I have installed is the latest WP MU from the MU site and from plugins I install BP nothing else.

Suffice it to say if I don’t install the BP plugin acivation works fine and the user blog comes up with no problem. Can someone please point me in the right direction? I don’t feel like reinstalling a 3rd time. This is just a default install no plugins besides BP and it works. I also checked the ‘wp_signups’ table and the activation key matches what comes in the email. It just thinks the key is invalid both as a link and when entering the key in a box. And when I deactivate BP activation works fine.
