Activity feed not displaying from default “everything”

The activity page doesn’t show any the records unless I use the SHOW: dropdown to show something other then “everything”. Then, going back to the “everything” selection, it behaves properly. If I refresh the page and scroll all the way to the bottom then click “load more” it does load more and displays activity as expected there but the default list above doesn’t appear.
