activity stream not functioning

1.The count (number of activities) is incorrect once I deleted some activity with my super admin account.
    2. It does not include “post creation” in sub-sites and main sites. (I tested it with super admin account and a normal account.
3, The RSS feed for activity does not work too. It shoes “This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.”

I have no idea why this happened…I did not make any change to the buddypress files

  • Point 2. should work if you enabled the “Site Tracking” component (wp-admin BuddyPress > Components)?
Point 3. is expected behaviour (assuming there is indeed more text than that warning message). Some browsers offer default styles for RSS feeds (e.g. Safari), some don’t.

the first problem resolves after doing “resave” in permalinks
point 3. get it thanks. it is just the problem with chrome which does not support RSS styles. Firefox works well.
