Hi everyone. I’m new to setting up Buddypress, and am happy to say that people are already joining my new community. I’ve got a couple newbie type questions:

(1) Why do I want to know when a member updates their profile picture, and when members friend each other?

(2) How do I disable those two streams (if I want to–it may not be a good idea to do so).
