Activity update template

Hi,

I manage a surf site and we wanted to have surf reports posted to the activity stream of a group. The template essential would give user/members options on what to write from a drop down list and then be able to post this to the activity of the group.

Does anyone know of a plugin that can do this?

Check out http://buddydev.com/buddypress/blog-categories-for-groups-plugin/ where you can set the category “surf” for that group

@mercime The problem I have is that every group is an actual location. So I was looking for something like a form that is inside that group, that the surfers can fill out according to the options, then submit it and that is posted to the activity of just that group.

That way each group (location) has its own surf report.

Sorry, I didn’t explain this very well in the first post.

Does anyone know of a plugin that can do that?

Im quite new to coding so any help would be appreciated.

Implementation would be different for each plugin so check out which one meets your requirements and easiest to carry out on your end.
