Activity update time lag

    Whenever a user posts an update….the “Post Update” buttons flickers for 3 or 4 times before the update appears in the activity feed. This time lag greatly increases in case of image uploads.

    How can I reduce this time?

    The test is similar with the default Twenty Fourteen Theme also

    hi @navinachettri,

    wide question ! Causes are multiple, from server power to browser settings, medias size and some conflict with a theme, a plugin or a custom function….

    An easy thing to do is to restrain the image size and weight in the media settings.
    Another thing would be to check the activity page code if you use a child-theme.

    About flickering, have you tested with different brower ? Could also be a js conflict…
