Add a buddypress admin bar link to a sidebar

Okay, you’ll have to forgive me, but is there really no search bar on these forums? How the heck am I supposed to browse for my issue if I can’t even search????
Anyways, I want to add a profile link to a sidebar, problem is I can’t just add the link because it will differ for each user logged in. Is this possible?
