BuddyPress.org

I am trying to create a way for the admin bar (in particular, the Notifications notifier) in BuddyPress to auto-refresh every x (probably 20) seconds using AJAX. If possible I’d also like to do this with the BuddyPress Private Message pages as well. Anyone who has an idea who to do this will be my favorite person of the day. c: I am running most current version of WordPress and Buddypress.
