Adding an element before a Member’s Name

Hello,
I’m attempting to add an element before a Member’s Name.
I’m ending my function with:
add_filter ( 'bp_before_displayed_user_fullname', 'my_profile_badge' );This isn’t working, as I assume I’m not referring to the member’s name correctly.
How do I refer to the member’s name in this instance?
