Adding custom step to Buddypress groups

Hi,

I have buddypress(Version 2.8.2) installed and groups enable in my site. It called
User Networks. In client view create group has 6 steps.
1. Details 2. Settings 3. Forum4. Photo 5. Media 6. Send Invites

I want to add extra step to create group/networks function with some fields. Is it possible? If so could you please give me a documentation or information on how to do it.
