Adding User Photo to BP Profile by Admin

I’m hoping someone can help me add user photos to the profiles I have created through the wp-admin interface. I added the user photos via user-photo wp plugin. Blog posts from these users have their photos, but their profiles have no photo and their activity streams have no photo.
I’m using the bp-default theme, but every other bp theme I’ve used has the same problem. See on dev site, http://www.socialmarketer.org.
