Additional profile field duplication

    I can’t find how to duplicate new added field in User Profile.
    I have to add about 30 fields. The only difference between them is a name. So the easiest way is to simply copy them. Could you help me with this issue?

    I’ve not seen anything off the shelf that will do that.

    Perhaps it is possible to import extra fields (with falling-down selection list) from Excel file somehow?

    I suspect by now you’d have been able to duplicate them if you’d started manually. 🙂

    There’s no built in functionality for this. You could have tried duplicating the rows in the database (not trivial unless you are familiar with MySQL), or perhaps seeing if you could automate something with the BuddyPress extension for WP-CLI: https://github.com/buddypress/wp-cli-buddypress
