@bphelp this question actually is for you unless someone else can be of assistance. I read a couple years ago you were having trouble figuring out the exact coding for a split out dropdown list. i.e. breaking messages, friends, notifications from under My Account and making them their own menu items. I saw your code on Git for the separation prior to you being able to get the dropdown’s working correctly (dropdowns ex: ‘TestUser has sent you a new message’, or ‘TestUser has sent you a friend’s request’). Were you able to complete the code to get the dropdown working?

Anyone else that would like to share please feel free to do so. Thus far I’ve been able to manage a dropwdown, but I’ve been unable to get the sender’s name to show up.
