Admin can't view groups in dashboard 1.2

I can’t view the groups in the dashboard. I’m running bp 1.2 RC2 and WPMU 2.9.1. There’s no option at all for the groups in the dashboard.
I’ve created a group but when I invited another member, I couldn’t access the group anymore but the latest activity was still visible on the activity feed. I had to manually delete the group from the database.
