Ajax update site for multiple people withour refreshing witho.

    Hello Probably wondering what the heck i mean by my question title. Well i have been testing my new site and i noticed that the ajax functionality is great for when I post something i see it right away on my computer without refreshing the page, but it does not update on every other users computer as well without refreshing the page. So is it correct to say that if i write something to my activity , the rest of the members on the site will not be notified until they then refresh this page? well what is the purpose of having this feature if it wont refresh it for everyone else. I know what I wrote i want everyone else to see it as well without having to refresh their pages.

    Thanks for any guidance or help on this matter.
