Allow admin moderation of extended profile fields via admin

    Hi all,

    I’ve done searches and seen the chatter on this, however I’m looking for a definitive answer involving the newer extended profile integration into buddypress.

    The closes I could find was this, but it seems outdated: http://buddypress.org/support/topic/how-to-manage-users-their-extended-profiles/

    I’m looking for a way to allow admin addition of information into certain extended profile fields. The idea here is that the field would be completely hidden to buddypress users, but the field would be added to the user profile, editable via the wp admin, so that it could be filled in by administrators only.

    Has anyone come across anything that would enable this functionality?

    I don’t know if there’s a way to do it natively in BuddyPress (I’m new here), but s2member can be used to create additional member fields that are only accessible to administrators, and I expect there are other plugins that offer similar functionality.
