Am I being thick?

    I have installed the forum add on, but cannot for the life of me work out how to start a thread.

    How do I do it?

    Hi Kevin

    In BuddyPress, Forums are an element of a Group, rather than standalone. You *can* install a standalone forum but it requires more work.

    Anyway, once the forum has been set up (via the admin pages in the /wp-admin/ backend), you go into a Group, there should be a Forum tab. You can create threads from this page.
