Anyone Using Buddymattic Theme?

Not sure if this is the right place for this question.
I’m using the buddymattic theme on a site and I can’t get the comments box to show on static pages…can anyone mention the line of code and where it would be placed to show the comments box for pages??
I have comments checked on the post page from the admin and in the admin area under the read/write/comments section of settings…
ideas? comments?
