Are there options for group blogs without multisite installation?

    We are looking for a group blog option for our BuddyPress + BadgeOS + Commons in a Box site. BuddyPress Groupblog is a great plugin to accomplish that. However, it requires a multisite installation, which is not a very good option given our requirements (see this post in Commons in a Box support forum for a background).

    Does anyone know of or have used any other plugin to get to group blogs without requiring multisite? Any advice to help with our search?

    Are you just trying to add all new members to one blog? If so I think there are options for that.
    If you are wanting to create just a few blogs and auto add all your users to those, I think that is possible in some easy ways (some plugins I played with a while back I think)

    If you are wanting new blogs to be created by other users and those used by other users / groups.. I have not played with that kind of scenario outside of a multi-site setup where users (all) were auto added one blog that was already setup by me – so not sure what you are trying to do exactly.
