Assigning new pages to BuddyPress — Possible?

I want to assign my Site Tracking to a different page. The problem is it doesn’t seem to work. I found a tutorial on BuddyPress about using poedit and using a new language. It’s a lot for me to get my head around at this time.

    http://www.gumpolen.com

BuddyPress 1.6.4 with BP Columns child theme

Is this the only way to successfully assign a new page to Site Tracking — using a new language?

I initially created a page called “Blogs” for Site Tracking. I’d like to, instead, use a page called “Sites.”

Also, every time I create a new site, when I click on it, I am taken to another installation of WordPress. These installations are in two different subdirectories with separate databases. I have my main account: http://www.theeagleextra.com and then I have Domain Adon for http://www.gumpolen.com. When I create a new site in BuddyPress at Gumpolen, I am taken to http://www.theeagleextra.com. The new site seems to be created correctly, and it displays as http://cliffs.gumpolen.com. When I click on it, like I said, I end up being taken out of Gumpolens and plopped down at http://www.theeagleextra.com.

Do I need to re-install multi-site and chose to have the subdomains appears after my domain name instead of before it?

For example, do I need to have this: http://www.gumpolen.com/cliffs instead of http://www.cliffs/gumpolen.com?

    1. wp-admin Pages > Add New and title it “Sites” then click Publish
    2. wp-admin Settings > BuddyPress > Pages and assign the new Sites page to site tracking

Also, every time I create a new site, when I click on it, I am taken to another installation of WordPress.

Something’s gone awry with your multisite installation. Did you follow instructions at https://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network ?

At this stage, deactivate BuddyPress then create a subsite. If you are still being redirected to another WP install, please post the issue at https://wordpress.org/support/forum/multisite

Please make sure that your multisite issue is resolved before re-activating BuddyPress.
