BuddyPress.org

I just installed buddypress and tried to upload an avatar.

I see the avatar that was uploaded in wp-content/uploads/avatars/1

Is that where they should reside?

I did not get an error on the upload, but after the upload, I did not see the image to crop, i just see 2 broken pictures which look for the URL

http://xxx.com/MyBlog/members/MyName/profile/change-avatar/wp-content/uploads/avatars/1/myPhoto.jpg

where:

MyBlog is my WP install directory

MyName is my user name

myPhone.jpg is the photo i uploaded

Did something not get created properly?

this is a WP 2.9.2 site and MyName is the admin user for the WP site.
