[Resolved] How to get Profile social media fields out of Base into own group?

hey there,
I’m using buddypress 2.2, WordPress 4.n – nice work by the way!

The new BuddyPress comes with SocialMedia fields encoded into the xProfile, and display with the Base profile fields.

Is there any way to get the social media links to
1. Display in their own group, not the Base group.
2. To only display if they are populated?

Is this gonna require a .php hack? – if so anyone got any tips for me?

or does anyone know a good plugin to handle this?

BuddyPres hasn’t social fields in the Base xprofile field group. There is only one field which is [username] !

Check one of your plugin or your theme setings. Or maybe a custom function…
Give details. Theme & used plugins for example.

my mistake – this is a BuddyBoss theme issue.

I am using BuddyBoss 1.0.5 – I am pretty sure these social fields are included in the new release.

I’ll address the request to them.
