Hi all !

i use bp 1.1.3 and WPMU 2.8.6, both stable version.

I need some information on how to insert code snippets into forum topics.

On my BP demo site, many people asking for help and sometimes shows their code as example or i have to give them some coded solutions.

The problem with forum comments is that practically all html is stripped, and php of course too.

ie. Anti slash are not showing and variables are completely erased.

I tested some code highlighter with HTML Purifier but none are working satisfying at this time.

Can somebody help me, perhaps telling me for a filter or knows a good tool to do what i need ?

Hey Chouf1,

You’ll need to override the BP forum filter.

By default, only the breakline and paragraph tags are supported.

To override the filter, you’ll need to write your own.
